COLLECTIONS WORKFLOWS

Keep the conversation connected to the work.

Anson’s approach connects what a borrower says with the facts, authority and follow-up a collections team needs. The institution defines the business rules and retains approval of material financial decisions. Each project establishes which systems, actions and controls are in scope.

Conversation, agent workflow and account state work together.

Voice conversation

Understand and record the request, correction or promise in context.

Agent workflow

Propose the next permitted step, use the agreed tools and connect exceptions to a reviewer.

Verified business state

Check authoritative records and actual execution results before drawing a business conclusion.

SYNTHETIC WORKFLOW SCENARIOS

Use concrete situations to test the path.

Payment reported

Keep the statement separate from payment confirmation. Query the authorized source and send missing or conflicting evidence for review.

Amount disputed

Preserve the disputed amount, its source and as-of time. Follow the agreed reconciliation process; the model does not rewrite the balance.

Payment promised

Record the agreed date and amount. Verify performance against actual payment records when due, with duplicate and partial payments handled explicitly.

Wrong person or complaint

Limit debt disclosure until identity requirements are met. Record the issue and apply the approved restriction and review path.

Keep the system of record. Verify the integration.

Map account objects, state freshness, permissions and ownership before connecting a workflow. The public V1 API supports validated asset and case creation; it does not create outbound call tasks or place calls. Task approval, state synchronization, payment reconciliation and result delivery require their own integration and acceptance tests.

Give every exception an owner.

The institution supplies authoritative facts, policy and approval. Anson supplies the software and delivery work agreed for the project. Reviewers own the exceptions assigned to them. Any outsourced collections operation or additional data processor needs a separately defined role, authorization and responsibility.

Prove one workflow before expanding.

Test the normal path, missing evidence, timeouts, permission failures and recovery. Agree the evidence and owner for each result, then assess business performance and full cost over a comparable period.
